Selling my 2007 Volvo XC90. I bought it two years ago because Volvos are safe, comfortable, and spacious. It’s been a good, safe family car and it passed its NCT in May 2026.

I want to be upfront so the next owner knows that they're taking on. The car has been going into limp mode and throwing up faults recently but that could be something to do with the ECU. It drives, just with limited power sometimes.

Someone handy could definitely make this a great runner again!

I would offer more if their was a better indication as to what was wrong with the car causing it to go into limp mode.

@Jap_Spec91: we believe it's something to do with the ECU as sometimes the car runs perfectly well - full power and no faults, and then other times it shows faults and goes into limp mode.
