Bulova Luna Pilot

For sale is my Bulova Lunar Pilot chronograph, a modern interpretation of the famous Bulova chronograph worn on the Moon during the Apollo 15 mission in 1971.
This is a fantastic alternative to the usual mechanical chronographs, powered by Bulova's extremely accurate 262 kHz high-frequency quartz movement. It features a black multi-register dial, tachymeter scale and polished stainless-steel case.

The watch is in very good used condition, with only light signs of wear consistent with normal use. The crystal and dial present particularly well and the chronograph is functioning correctly.

Currently fitted with a light blue leather strap, which gives it a slightly different look from the standard setup. Also included is the Bulova-signed black NATO-style strap shown in the photographs.

The engraved caseback commemorates Apollo 15 and astronaut David Scott's use of a Bulova chronograph on the lunar surface, one of the most interesting stories behind any modern affordable chronograph.

A great-looking watch with genuine space-flight heritage and a huge amount of watch for the money.
