19th Century Dresden Compote

Here is a simply stunning piece of 19th century pottery,in the form of a Dresden Compote.The level of detail in the hand painting,the quantity of raised flowers(nearly 20),the crispness in both figurines and the level of gold gilding..set this piece apart..and raise it to another level.The piece is thirteen inches tall and eight inches across the diameter of the rim.The hand painted figures and flowers are still bright and vibrant.The gold gilding is unrubbed and beautifully laid down.The piece has ZERO nibbles,cracks,missing pieces or repairs.I have added 44 photos to give a fair indication of the quality of the piece.The piece is marked in red with the number 03 on the base.A very similar piece has just sold on 1st Dibs for over 2k.
