Description

Beautiful set of 6 vintage French porcelain fish plates from the world-renowned Limoges region (France).

Dating back to the 1920s–1940s Art Deco period, this elegant set features high-quality polychrome illustrations of river fish (Trout and Pike) in their natural habitat. Finished with a rich, wavy scalloped gold-gilt border (Decor series number 212 stamped on the back).

Condition report (Please read carefully):
The front (display) side of all 6 plates looks completely perfect and intact, with no visible damage when viewed from the front. All imperfections are strictly on the reverse (underside):
- 3 plates are in 100% perfect vintage condition front and back.
- 2 plates have a tiny, minor chip on the underside rim/back only (completely invisible from the front).
- 1 plate has two clean hairline cracks on the back (one in the center, one on the inner rim curve), but the front remains completely solid and intact.

Overall, a gorgeous set for collectors or those looking for a stunning French-themed wall display or country/fishing lodge decor, as they look flawless when displayed.
