A Beautiful Old Collectable Ceramic tankard featuring characters from Charles Dickens novels Sam Weller and Sairey Gamp, This is a Vintage Lancaster & Sandland Character Ware tankard featuring characters from Charles Dickens novels. The tankard is decorated in low relief and depicts Sam Weller on the front and Sairey Gamp on the rear. The handle is uniquely shaped like a London street light. The pottery was manufactured in Hanley, Staffordshire, from 1944 until the 1970s.
