Description
Tunstall, Staffordshire, England

Classic "Flow Blue" or blue transferware style, characterized by deep blue pigment beautifully bled into the white earthenware base.
The ornate border artfully balances geometric lace-like grids, stylized Art Nouveau cartouches, and delicate floral sprays of roses and forget-me-nots trailing into the clean, cream-colored central field. These semi-porcelain ironstone pieces typically date back to the late Victorian era through the early 20th century (circa 1890s–1910s).
Lovely substantial decorative piece. Centrepiece or cabinet display.
Use for parties to serve food. Versatile.
Suit a variety of interior styles be it modern contemporary, eclectic or rustic cottagecore!
