Two antique hexagonal Thomas Forester & Sons dessert set.
This set of two antique plates by Thomas Forester & Sons is a visual delight combining deep cobalt blue and gold edging and florals with deep diagonal embossing..Despite these plates are unmarked,I believe that their date of manufacture somewhere at the end of the 1800s.
These unusual plates are in very good condition for being more than a century old, with an invisible hairline on the cake plate, look at the last picture. The plates measure 24 cm and 18.5 cm in diameter.
