Beautiful Nicholas Mosse Small Straight-Sided Circular Pot/Bowl in the Popular but Discontinued "Kilfane Rose" Pattern, Circa 1996-2004

I am continuing my effort to downsize as unfortunately we will have to move all our belongings into temporary storage due to builders carrying out major remediation works to our brand new home.
I’m trying to minimize the pain by reducing the amount of packing required to be done!

I am reluctantly reducing my Nicholas Mosse collection, and will have a few items that will need to find a new home.

For sale here is a Beautiful Nicholas Mosse Small Straight-Sided Circular Pot/Bowl in the Popular but Discontinued “Kilfane Rose” Pattern, Circa 1996-2004

This is a lovely little pot, which I am struggling to identify the purpose of. It might be one bowl of a set of graduated straight-sided circular bowls, but it seems too tall.
Too tall and large to be a butter pat. Too tall to be a ramekin either.
My best bet is that it might be a lidded sugar bowl without the lid.

Either way it’s a lovely piece in great condition, in a rare and popular pattern.

The pot stands 2.75 inches/ 7cm tall and measures 3.25 inches/8.5cm in diameter. The” Kilfane Rose” pattern features a repeat pattern of large pinky-red roses with green and brown foliage and blue star-shaped flowers and a blue diamond repeat pattern border.

The pot is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, pattern fading. There is a small amount of crazing with is not visible to the naked eye, and was only visible at a certain angle under a bright light and a macro lens.

I will have other pieces of Nicholas Mosse, some in the Kilfane Rose pattern, coming soon, see the last photo and keep an eye out for my upcoming ads.
