For sale is a magnificent, highly collectible mid-century vintage art pottery decorative bowl/dish shaped like a detailed maple leaf, coming from the world-renowned pottery town of Vallauris, France.

This substantial piece features a breathtakingly vibrant, high-gloss volcanic "Fat Lava" style drip glaze. The center erupts with fiery red and orange tones, beautifully framed by textured, foamy black volcanic elements on a rich glossy brown base.

Origin: Vallauris, France (Mid-Century Modern, circa 1960s/1970s)

Markings: Authentically stamped with a crisp gold "VALLAURIS" factory mark on the base.
