Description

For sale is a beautiful antique/vintage ceramic wedge-shaped cheese dish cover (lid only, no base plate).

Features gorgeous hand-painted pink and red azalea / rhododendron flowers with delicate gold gilt scrolling details along the handle and molded corners. It appears to date to the late Victorian or Edwardian era.

Perfect as a replacement lid if you have the matching base, or it can be beautifully repurposed as a freestanding decorative tabletop food cloche, cheese dome, or country-kitchen dresser display piece.

Condition: Good antique condition with no structural cracks. It shows minor age-related wear to the gold detailing as expected with its age, giving it a lovely authentic patina.
