Fabulous Antique Blue and White 9 Inch Breakfast Plate By Furnivals Limited, in the Popular "Old Chelsea" Pattern Circa 1915+ (number 2)

I am continuing my effort to downsize, in advance of all our possessions having to go back into storage again in the next few months (the builders keep changing the dates!)

I have quite the selection of Blue and White and Willow Pattern which I have collected over the years and used for buffets, afternoon teas, and for display on my kitchen dresser, (which I no longer have) but I have too much for my needs, and so this fabulous plate can now go!

For sale here is a Fabulous Antique Blue and White 9 Inch Breakfast Plate By Furnivals Limited, in the Popular "Old Chelsea" Pattern Circa 1915+

Another classic Blue and White transfer pattern by Furnivals, Cobridge, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, in the Asiatic and Oriental Style featuring exotic birds and flowers in the central design, with an abstract and floral repeat pattern around the rim. A very stylish pattern with a lovely balance of the blue and white.

The plate is in excellent Antique condition, with no cracks, chips or pattern loss,

The backstamp features a Viking Boat emblem, with the “Old Chelsea” Title, Furnivals Limited, Trade Mark, England, and the registered number 647812, which was registered in 1915.

The Plate measures 9 inches/ 23 cm in diameter, and is thus considered a breakfast plate, although can also be used as a small dinner plate – portion control!!

Perfect for special occasion use, as part of a mix and match blue and white dinner setting.

Would also look fabulous as part of a display of Blue and White on a kitchen dresser or as part of a wall feature. Especially nice to have an example that has more white than blue in the pattern, to make a wall of blue and white plates really pop.
