Fabulously Kitsch Vintage Lidded Pirate's Treasure Chest Trinket Box by Wade Porcelain, England

Clearing the clutter, and I have a few odd items with no place in my collections any longer, so letting them go!!

For sale here is a Fabulously Kitsch Vintage Lidded Pirate’s Treasure Chest Trinket Box by Wade Porcelain, England.

Perfect for hiding your smallest most precious treasure – jewellery, keys, tooth fairy coins and teeth!!!
It could also be used to store daily vitamin pills or beauty capsules.

This kitsch little trinket box made by Wade is roughly 4cm tall, 9cm long and 6cm wide. It is in two parts; the base and the lid although hinged, can be separated. It is fashioned in the shape and design of a wooden treasure chest with the planks of wood beautifully hand painted to portray grain and knots. There is also decoration to portray iron banding around the chest a lock and clasp at its front and hinges at its rear. The top lifts up and the rear hinges interlock.

This piece, which dates to the 1960’s is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or pattern loss. It stands roughly 1.5 inches/4cm tall and is 3.5 inches/ 9 cm in length.

I can find three examples on Etsy of the same trinket box, and they range between €18 and €22 ex shipping and customs, so this one is a bargain!
