Large Chinese Porcelain Phoenix and Peony Vase 38cm Chinoiserie Decor

A striking, substantial porcelain vase with an elegant faceted form, broad shoulders, tall neck and gently flared rim.

Beautifully decorated in soft shades of turquoise blue, green, pale pink and white, the principal panel features a magnificent phoenix among large flowering peonies. The surrounding panels are embellished with bamboo, blossom and delicate botanical motifs, while smaller scenic and floral reserves decorate the neck and shoulders.
