Masterpiece Antique Royal Doulton - SUNG Flambe Vase - Signed by both Noke and Moore (c.1925)

DON’T FORGET TO LOOK AT MY OTHER ADVERTS, FOR SOME AMAZING HIDDEN GEMS!

An absolute museum-grade investment piece of English art pottery: an authentic Royal Doulton "Sung" Flambé teardrop studio vase from the peak Art Deco era (circa 1920–1935).

This exceptional vase represents the ultimate studio collaboration, bearing BOTH the hand-painted script signatures of legendary Art Director Charles Noke and master glaze-chemist Fred Moore (FM) alongside the printed factory marks on the base.

The vase showcases a spectacular execution of the coveted "Sung" glaze technique. A rich, high-gloss copper-reduction oxblood crimson ground is dramatically overlaid with volcanic runs of vivid cobalt blue, deep iridescent violet pooling, and speckled gold-ochre mottling. Because these pieces were high-fired experimentally in unpredictable kilns, this magnificent pattern is a completely unique, one-of-a-kind work of art.
