For sale is a gorgeous, matching pair (x2) of handmade ceramic candlesticks by the highly regarded Irish studio potter, the late Michael Kennedy.
Reflecting the dramatic tones and textures of the West of Ireland landscape, these candlesticks showcase his signature rich glaze, multi-layered earthy tones, and distinctive hand-combed or twisted design. Each piece was individually hand-thrown on the potter's wheel, making this pair a completely unique set of functional Irish art.
They look beautiful holding standard taper candles on a dining table, mantelpiece, or sideboard, and serve as excellent standalone display pieces when not in use. Both candlesticks are in perfect, mint condition with no chips, cracks, or damage.
