Here is a beautiful mid century Chinese ginger jar.This is a large piece,ten inches tall and nine across and is stoneware based with a porcelain finish.The jar has very clean lines,with geometrical top and bottom black bands over a crisp white finish.The lid and front of the jar depicts three princesses overseeing their personal attendants doing their embroidery.The rear depicts calligraphy,which is typical of the period.The jar and lid carry eight different red seal marks,signifying the time period and maker's marks.Safe postage available as always,at the buyer's cost.Thanks for looking please check out my other ads.
