Original PYREX American Coffee Percolator
Description
Vintage "PYREX" Flamproof 4 cup stovetop coffee percolator. The handle features a contoured clear glass handle attached with a Chrome band, Pyrex produced straight glass handles from 1936-1948, then changed to this contoured style from 1948-1949, and shifted to black phenolic (Resin) handles from 1950 onwards, definitely placing this one in a manufactured in 1948- 1949 timeframe.The logo on the base feature all- caps "PYREX " stamp, which confirms it's composition is original borosiliate glass. This glass posseses superior thermal resistance compared to modern consumer glass. The base stamp gives its model number 7745 the "PYREX" Logo & made in the USA stamped on it. It comes with all the essential internal components to brew your coffee.
