Description

Vintage Pearsons of Chesterfield stoneware biscuit storage jar, made in England.

Cream stoneware body with dark brown glazed shoulder and rim, black “BISCUITS” lettering and the original-style thick cork lid.

Used condition with glaze crazing, surface marks and typical stoneware manufacturing irregularities. The cork lid is very dry, heavily cracked and beginning to crumble, so it may eventually require replacement.

A good rustic kitchen storage or display piece. Clean thoroughly before food use.
