Rosenthal small porcelain basket by Raymond Loewy

A porcelain vase/basket with a handle and an asymmetrical shape, produced by the German manufacturer Rosenthal.
This organic, modernist form—dating back to the 1950s and 1960s—was created by the renowned designer Raymond Loewy, considered one of the fathers of industrial design.
The series/decor, titled "Birds on Trees," features a motif of birds amidst branches and foliage, rendered in a subdued gray palette with delicate gold accents.
It was manufactured at the Rosenthal Selb-Plössberg facility in Bavaria, Germany.
Due to its distinctive, basket-like form, it is often described in catalogs and at auctions as either a vase or a small decorative porcelain basket.
