Stunning Jacques Adnet 1925 Porcelain Turtle Dove
Description
Jacques Adnet(1900-1984) was a celebrated interior designer,sculptor,artist and architect.This modernist turtle dove was first exhibited at the exposition des Arts Decoratifs et Industriels Modernes of 1925.The dove is 6 inches tall and finished in an ivory crackled glaze and impressed with Adnet's name at the front of the base.It is in stunning condition,with zero chips,cracks or repairs. A little yellowing towards the base,consummate with age(I would want to see that there).This is an elegantly decorative piece from a celebrated moment in the 20th century design.I will include registered post in the asking price.
