Vintage Romanian Arpo Porcelain plate PRICE DROP

WAS €18 NOW €14. Prettily decorated with vibrant roses motif, this saucer/plate is by the famous Romanian fine china/porcelain makers Arpo which closed its doors in 2007
Producing pieces between 1970-2007 they closed due to bankruptcy, hence with the relative short lived production of the company, their pieces are becoming harder to come by and are collectible. This plate’s unusual shape encompasses a small depression to hold either a cup allowing enough space still on the plate to sit a slice of cake perhaps or for sitting of a small jug or creamer. The quality of the porcelain is beautiful and the painted motif of roses is skilfully precise.
