Lovely vintage ceramic shaving scuttle / shaving mug made in England by the famous Wade pottery brand. Features a classic brown transfer-print illustration of a retro biplane (SE5A Fighter Plane style) on an ivory/cream glazed background.

Designed with a traditional soap deck containing drainage holes and a wide side spout for pouring in hot water to keep your shaving brush and lather warm. A brilliant, functional piece of vintage barbiere history or a great addition to a Wade pottery collection.

Good Vintage Condition: The outer glaze, transfer biplane print, handle, and base are in fantastic structural shape with no chips, cracks, or crazing.
Flaws: There is some brown soap/rust residue inside the side water compartment (clearly shown in the close-up photo) that needs a thorough cleaning/soak. Priced accordingly!
