19th Century Antique Smokers Bow Armchair

Description

This classic piece features a wonderfully rich, dark patina and a high-gloss finish that really highlights the natural grain of the wood. It has the traditional sweeping, curved armrest, beautifully turned spindles and legs, and a thick, incredibly comfortable sculpted saddle seat. It is supported by a sturdy double-H stretcher at the base, making it very solid and heavy.
It has been exceptionally well cared for and is completely structurally sound with no wobbles. It would make a fantastic desk chair, a statement piece for a hallway or living room, or a cozy addition to a reading nook.
