This chair is a classic example of French Restauration style or late 19th-century Neo-Rococo / Victorian revival often referred to historically as chaises à récliner, (reclining chairs) or "sleeping chairs....or "It could be a 20th-Century Revival Piece. Either way it's a lovely chair and I have two of them.
