Victorian Mahogany Draughtsman's Desk
Victorian Mahogany Draughtsman's Desk
Description
A 19th an antique mahogany library secretaire or metamorphic writing and cabinet piece, resembling a Regency-style library secretaire or collector's/folio cabinet with a ratcheting sloped leather-inset top over twin cupboard doors under triple drawers. The piece is in fairly good condition for its age. A few marks and scuffs but otherwise a lovely piece of furniture.
Rectangular top featuring a dark leather writing or display inset with an adjustable/ratcheting support stand. Mahogany case with small frieze/shallow drawers above a pair of lower cabinet doors. Consistent with 19th-century Regency or campaign-adjacent fine library and metamorphic furniture.
