As his bottom is weighted, he can be placed sitting on a shelf, armchair arm, couch, window cill, chair or table, with his legs dangling.
He is wearing a red and black plaid scarf and matching hat + holds a snow shovel + bucket. He has real pine cone buttons on his red and white outfit which is soft fabric. 

He has a carrot-shaped nose and a stitched smile. His shovel is decorated with a small evergreen sprig with a pinecone. A wooden star is attached to his scarf.
