Noble fir Christmas trees

Description

I have Noble fir Christmas trees grown in 10ltr bio- degradable cloth bags .The trees can be planted at any time ,into the ground as they are growing in the fibre bags.
Noble fir is considered as a premium Christmas tree as it has soft needles and retains them the best .
They are between 30cm and 40cm tall now and in 5 to 8 years would be 7ft to 8ft .

If I transplanted into a 50ltr bucket would it grow as normal given appropriate soil and water?

@ciarancarroll Hi Ciaran , the Noble fir likes free draining ground , so if your container has good drainage it will be fine . I have you 100ltr blue plastic barrels , cut in half and drilled holes all around it for air and drainage to grow 12ft birch trees in . I will ad a photo of it .

@ciarancarroll No problem , they will grow between 1ft to 2ft a year depending on where you position them , ideally with plenty of sunlight and sheltered a bit from the wind.
Also , regular plant food and water.
