Hi. What make and model is the new pickup, and are all the electronics working properly? Is the neck straight, and are there any cracks, repairs or issues with the bridge? Also, is the action comfortable all the way up the neck? Thanks a million!
@irishscotty Hi, the neck is perfectly straight and nice low playing action all up the neck.No issues with the bridge,no cracks, repairs or anything,in very good condition for 41 years old i would say.The pickup is a Journey Tek single passive piezo pickup. There is an internal electrical issue with the original (which potentially can be fixed).
Thanks. Just to clarify, does the new pickup work completely independently of the original electronics? Also, have you tried it plugged into an amp or PA? Thanks a million.
