Mentel clock - oak wood -Mid 20th century- Germany 1930s
Mechanical - 8-day movement - striking on gong rods
A beautiful, large and well-running oak pendulum dating from the 1930s and is therefore about 80 to 90 years old. Of course, age has left its mark. The going and striking mechanism works fine. Every full and half hour the clock sounds the time by striking three gong bars twice. Wind up the springs once a week and he can go ahead for another period. The springs are, as befits a quality clock, in a barrel.
This clock comes with a winding key.
