@Juicy Juice: I can only tell you that we managed to hang out the bed sheets. We bought it some years ago from Argos I think and we were using it every summer when the house when the children were small. Now they're grown and left the house so it's just myself and my wife and we are not using it anymore.

@Juicy Juice: I never said that it can hold only one wash. I said that we were hanging an entire wash simply because we were not doing multiple washes together. It's a standard size anyway. They don't exist in small, medium and large.

@Juicy Juice: No it doesn't have a base and honestly I don't think you can find one with a base. The stick is usually inserted into a cemented base which I don't think it is provided when you buy it.
