Spot price for 24 carat is currently €138 per gram, so total for this coin would be 7.988 x €138 / 24 x 22 = €1,010

@blakes7fan The selling price for any item crafted from precious metal is determined by combining the current spot price with the product's individual price. In this case, the coin was manufactured in the 19th century, which I believe addresses your inquiry.
