Description
A very scarce Maggie Full Solid Silver Crown modified as a Love Token,
Circa 1890, Victorian, with Very Fine detail and excellent engraving.
Very Fine detail, the coin face with Victoria is of a very high standard, the letters on the edges of the coin have little or no wear, all this is clear in the images.
Hard to come across with the scarce Maggie name, the quality of the work and with the great conditon.
The clasp was removed at some stage and would need to be replaced to be worn.
It weighs 24 grams, a bit less than the standard crown weight, obviously a few grams were etched offcreating the piece, it is 4 cm's in diameter.
