Rare Vintage 1948 Pakistan Mint Coin Set - Official Lahore Mint, Blue Wallet

An incredible find for any coin collector or history enthusiast ! This is an official government-issued 1948 " Pakistan Mint Specimen Coin Set " housed in its highly collectible original blue vinyl presentation wallet.

This set features the complete 7-coin Pre-decimal currency series struck following Pakistan's independence. The inside back cover features the historically significant official embossing : " Pakistan Mint, Lahore / West Pakistan ", dating the assembly of this wallet between 1955 and 1971.

• The coin's are in beautiful Uncirculated/Specimen Condition with sharp details and original luster.

• As is very common with these original 1950s cardboard presentation sleeves, the punch holes for a couple of the smaller coins have stretched slightly over the last 70 years, meaning they can sit loose and occasionally need to be gently pushed back into place.

• There is a tiny bit of natural age-related toning-patina on the metal surfaces.
