Renault traffic 230k kms, passed doe in feb but need backdating so due again in end august. New battery after old one threw fault code. Ive owned the van 8 yrs and serviced it regulary. During that time i had to buy, tyres, break pads, oil, filters, fuel, rear wheel bearing, real break caliper, and its been a solid servent. Clutch works fine but the pedal is slow to return (intermitant) maybe a slave cylinder but i think it just needs bleeding.sitting since i got company van but will suit someone at this price van has remote, bluetooth and sat nav (although quite dated).

Other than the clutch is there anything else mechanicaly wrong with it

@Mr Kit side door outside handle dosnt work but opens from handle inside. Clutch works, I drove the van today. Peadle is just slow to return sometimes. I really think a bleed is all it needs. But at worst a slave cylinder. I got a message saying check injection and van conked out one day all of a sudden but a worn out battery was the culpret and has never reappeared since new battery went in. But the van has valid doe done in feb and barely any milage since which can be seen from current milage and doe cert. There would be longer on the doe if i hadnt left it so long before renewing. Its been a reliable servant for me and im sure it will be for next owner.

What would you really take for it mechanic will say it needs a full clutch kit and I won't know if it does or not you can't trust most of them

@Mr Kit i want close to my asking price because in all honesty the price is fair. But ill knock a few quid off cause everyone wants to feel happy about their purchase and im not without comprimise. Im a fair person to deal with as you can see from my reviews. But coming and looking for 800 euro off would be a waste of everyones time and i just wont go that far. The ad has not been up long and im sure it will suit someone at the price advertised. The real question is does it suit you ? And only you can answer that.
