@biddybiddy can’t seem to get it to work as a friend originally bought me the ticket and he doesn’t have the option to transfer the ticket to my Eventbrite account. He has just sent me a copy of the ticket which is currently in my apple wallet. Tell me if you want to proceed.

He would probably have to initiate the sale on the Tixel app as the original purchaser.
From what I can make out, the new purchaser pays for the reissue of the new ticket and a payment processing fee.
It adds about €15 to the ticket price but it’s safe fir both parties
