Gerry Stronge Photography started in Mian Street in Ballinasloe in 1990. One of the many products Gerrys sells are calving cameras. Cameras start at €50 for a basic model which is ideal for a small stable or calving box. The camera works off electricity and wi-fi which can be worked from a static wi-fi box or broadband modem.
This camera can be viewed on up to 6 devices i.e. mobile phones, laptops, or smart TV. The next model is a waterproof indoor or outdoor camera IP65 grade costing €110.
The indoor rotating model rotates 360% and 55% up and down has infrared for night vision and 2 way audio for €120.
The next model is a full 360% rotating 90% up and down fully waterproof model which can be used indoor or outdoor.
Night colour vision motion detection auto tracking and numerous other features. This camera costs €250.
The most popular model is the Solar powered camera that takes a data sim card and can be erected anywhere inside or outside no wi-fi or electricity needed. It has all the features including motion detection and high resolution lens.
All cameras come with a 2 year warranty and can be delivered anywhere in Ireland next day.
Gerry explained that after you are finished calving or lambing.
The cameras can me moved up to the house and used as security cameras for the rest of the year. It takes about 5 minutes to set up the cameras and 5 minutes to self-install.
With the price of stock, it’s a no brainer for all framers and security conscious people.
