Sorry for the late response, I've not been able to check shutter count, none of the free tools seem to work with the 6D ii and I'm not keen on paying for one to try that. If you have the paid version you're welcome to come take a look :)

@Weylyn I'd estimate I've taken well under 1000 frames a month for the 3-4 years I've owned it.
Somewhere in the 40000 range. Person who owned it before me estimated they had shot about the same.

There are a few Canon 17-40 L offers here, the same price, one is even 180. I think Canon 20 is cheaper than 17-40 L, about 100?

Canon EF 20 is from 1987, L lenses are better. Imagine I pay 200 for 20mm, than 200 for 28mm, than another 200 for 35mm. It's not a very good deal :-)

You're paying for the extra stop of light here and the form factor
If you want a zoom over a prime that's your choice

Just to mention, we never use wide lenses wide open. Usually it's opposite. So f2.8 and f4 are absolutely the same when you work always on f11 :-)
