Ah that’s a shame! I’ve been shooting film for a while and would like to try the Leica digital side of things. Let me know if you change your mind!
Also if you were unsure and wanted to run a roll through just to get a feel of it, I’d love to shoot some photos on the M9.
Just an idea

@kuyadale Thx, I will keep in mind.
M9 shoot like a film camera, not much different, but it's heavier then M3 for sure. The screen on it is really primitive, not much resolution, have to check photos on monitor, which do give the excitement like a film camera.

@SeanKy Hi SeanKy,
The glass replacement was done via a third-party Leica specialist in Beijing prior to my purchase, so I don't have paperwork for the repair.
However, I’ve personally owned and shot with it in Ireland for a year with no corrosion issues at all. The sensor shows no signs of corrosion or surface damage—just a few minor dust specks visible at small apertures (standard sensor dust).
Feel free to test it out in person before deciding!

€1,500 OFFERED
Hi, looking for a quick sale ? Could offer 1500 no questions asked, I wouldn’t go any higher due to the Id-5 ccd, even with the replaced glass the corrosion could come back. Usually the ccd is replaced with Id-15

@A+-Guru But do consider the CCD was replaced, corrosion is no longer a problem at all. I have been owning it over a year and took many amazing photos.
@rayhill recording room That is the Artizlab 35mm F1.4, a copy of Iconic vintage Leica Summilux 35mm f/1.4 Pre-ASPH Version 2.
