Leica Q (Typ 116) — full-frame compact with a fixed 28mm f/1.7 Summilux lens. Sharp, fast, beautifully built, and genuinely fun to shoot with. Selling only to fund video gear for a Canon R6 Mark II.

The camera also has small squares of black electrical tape over the Leica badge and red dot decal, applied to keep a lower profile when shooting in public.

They are easily removed and leave no residue, so the camera looks factory-fresh underneath if you’d rather show off the branding.

Full-frame compact camera with a fixed Leica 28mm f/1.7 Summilux lens — one of the sharpest wide primes ever put on a compact body. 24MP CMOS sensor, built-in 3.68MP EVF, tilting 3” touchscreen, and a leaf shutter for silent shooting up to 1/2000s (1/16000s electronic). Full-frame video up to 1080p.

Beautifully machined magnesium-alloy body with genuine Leica handling — manual aperture and focus rings, minimal menus, and that unmistakable rangefinder-style presence. Macro mode gets you close for detail shots most 28mm lenses can’t touch.

I’ve loved every minute with this camera — it’s the kind of tool that makes you want to go out and shoot. Only selling to reinvest in video gear to go with a Canon R6 Mark II.
