MCM Danish teak table & 6 chairs Johannes Andersen/Ansager Mobelfabrik

Stylish, Danish dining suite, comprising a stunning tiled teak dining table by Ansager Mobelfabrik and a set of six, beautiful dining chairs, designed by Johannes Andersen for Uldum.
The table is Ansager Mobelfabrik 1972 Model M46, and is similar in design to the teak and tiled tables of Gangso. Like Gangso, this sturdy, teakwood table features a central inlay of Brutalist, ceramic tiles, allowing hot cookware or plants to be set onto the table, without fear of damage. The table measured 153cm in length, comfortably seating 4/6. The table comes with two additional leaves that continue the tiled feature and extend the table to a generous 250cm to seat 8/10 diners. The two end leaves can be folded down or removed completely to suit your space. The table is in superb overall condition and stands at 72cm in height and displays only minor, age related wear. It has been cleaned and polished with Danish oils.
Alongside this stunning, Danish dining table, we have a sublime set of six Danish dining chairs designed by Johannes Andersen in 1968 for Uldum Møbelfabrik. The chair seats have been newly upholstered in a vibrant, green wool mix and carry the original Uldum Mobelfabrik made in Denmark stamp/badge on the underside of the chairs. The chairs are in excellent condition for their age, are structurally sound and show only minimal general age-related wear. Beautifully designed with curved backs featuring ‘biscuit joints’ and angled uprights with decorative dovetailing, they are the most comfortable of dining chairs. Each seat pad is 48cm by 48cm and sits at a height of 45.5cm. Overall height of each chair measures 78cm.
A fabulous suite that will continue to provide a centrepiece to all this important occasions with family and friends.
