Ok. Now I understand. For private messages to work you have to click that you accept the offer. Sometimes people specify that they "accept the offer" only for the purposes of private messaging.

Some details I would never give publicly. I would use the PM to give out my mobile number. To give out my full name and address. To give out details of how weight meet for an exchange. You would need it for giving out cash transfer details.

It seems you never clicked on "Accept" so you didnt have my mobile. And I didnt have yours, if you were willing to give it out. And so the transaction ran into a cul-de-sac.
