Drowes Salmon Fishery map

Description

Large framed map of the Drowes Salmon Fishery on the County Leitrim/Donegal border.
Nicely-framed under glass.
In good overall condition with some small scuffs and one larger scuff to the gilded frame, plus an area of slight discolouration to the map in the lower right corner.
There is a letter attached to the back of the frame from German fisherman Reiner Troester, who was the map's creator. There is also a photograph enclosed within the frame.
It measures approx. 90cm x 37cm including the frame.
An unusual and striking piece, it would be a lovely thing for someone who fishes in that area.
