The Nee Delharmois Family Estate Archive 1782 to1796: A Complete Chronicle of Rural French Land Consolidation documents
Description
This exceptional, unbroken collection of 18th-century French legal documents offers an incredibly rare, firsthand look into the social and economic evolution of the Burgundy region during one of history's most turbulent eras. Intact and chronologically aligned, the archive beautifully tracks the systematic expansion of the prominent Née Delharmois estate in Clamecy across the dramatic transition from the Royal Ancien Régime of King Louis XVI to the dawn of the First French Republic. Its clean cursive scripts, authentic royal tax stamps, and distinctive Revolutionary-era headers make it a remarkable piece of local heritage and a prized historical treasure. The darker document is Velum.
