I’ve checked the measurements of the crate – the external size is 98 × 65 × 68 cm (L × W × H).

The Land Rover Freelander 2 (2007) boot is generally large enough in length and width, but the boot height and opening height can vary slightly depending on whether the parcel shelf is in place and the seat position.

In most cases, it should fit with the rear seats up and the parcel shelf removed, but I would strongly recommend measuring:

Boot opening height

Boot depth (front to back)

Boot width between the wheel arches

and comparing them to the crate dimensions above to be 100% sure.
