Description

Premium Large HiK9 Raised Dog Bed with Black Mesh Cover

Matt Black Power Coated Steel Frame
Heavy Duty replacement feet x4
Sunshade accessory (Clip on/easily removable)

As new condition, I bought this ages ago thinking the dimensions would suit my dog. Got that wrong, I had to size up to the Xtra Large for my German Shepherd and just never got round to selling this one.

They’re a quality piece of equipment and not to be confused with the middle isle/Amazon equivalent. I’ve had them and they don’t last any real length of time out doors.

Photos taken from the manufacturer’s website as mine is and has been packed away in its original box. I can update with actual photos at a later stage if needs be.

Large

Actual Dimensions: W69 × L111 × H21 cm
Sleeping Area: W69 × L90 cm
Supports Weight: up to 70 kg / 154 lb
Suitable for: Labrador Retriever, Boxer, Rottweiler, Husky, Doberman, Dalmatian

From the website;

Breathable, air flow allows dogs to regulate body temperature
Dust and hair drops through mesh
Ideal for dogs with allergies as stops dust mites from breeding in bedding
Continence issues, puppy training pads can be inserted between the double layer mesh catching any accidents
Great for dogs that get dirty and wet on a regular basis
Good for dogs with longer coats as they appreciate the air flow
Can be left outdoors as water drains through the open weave
Doesn't harbour smells

Hi,

Does your dog like this, does he have anything on top of it? I have been looking into these we have a lab x staffy that is destroying all his beds so think this is the solution but he loves his comfort like fluffy beds but by week 2 we come down to a chicken coop in the sitting room Sick of wasting money on beds!

@aisling.beirne1 Hi Aisling, sorry for the delayed response. I can certainly relate to a dog ripping up beds. I had that experience for a very long time. I did consider getting one of the toppers that HiK9 produce for their beds but it’s just never seemed necessary. My dog can be found either curled up or totally flaked out on his XL version.
But you know yourself, these little creatures all have their own personalities/quirks!

Thanks for coming back to me, I have since bought a scruffy's bed him. So far so good, he hasn't been able to rip it and tries a little less each night!

@aisling.beirne1 no worries. Hopefully he continues to love the bed!
