Cavanaghs of Charleville has a long and proud tradition in the motoring business in Munster. Set up in 1967 by Tom Cavanagh along with dealerships in Fermoy and Cork, the Charleville branch was taken over by current Dealer Principal, Martin Condon, in 1987. Martin and his team built up the business steadily adding the Hyundai franchise to the existing Ford business towards the end of the nineties. The business now comprises two showrooms, a 14-bay service department, state of the art bodyshop and over 2 acres of used cars on display. Cavanaghs of Charleville is now recognised as one of the best-run dealerships in the country as evidenced by its award in November 2010 from the Society of the Irish Motor Industry: SIMI Franchise Dealer of the year 2010-11. The Ford Dealership's commitment to customer service has resulted in the company being awarded the prestigious Ford Chairman's Award for Excellence in Customer Care no fewer than 7 years in a row - a feat no other Ford Dealer can claim.
