Vintage Mid-Century Austinsuite Dressing Table – Arnotts, Henry Street, circa 1960

Beautiful vintage white Austinsuite dressing table, originally from Arnotts, Henry Street, dating to around 1960.

The piece features its original brassed drawer handles, six spacious drawers, elegant turned legs and a large rectangular mirror that is both adjustable and detachable. A lovely example of mid-century design, perfect as a statement piece in a bedroom, dressing room or vintage-inspired interior.

The dressing table is clearly stamped with the bilingual country-of-origin mark:

“AN BHREATAIN MHÓRTIR A DHÉANTA
MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN”

This reflects the historical Irish labelling requirements for imported consumer goods, which required country-of-origin markings in both Irish and English.

Condition: Good condition, with some marks and signs of wear consistent with age.
