Highly reluctant sale of my vintage Premier 101. It dates from 1971-72 and is in really good nick for its age. Shells are all mahogany with beech renforcement rings in perfect round,. International sizes so modern heads fit perfectly.
The finish is Silver Star, which is notoriously fragile but aside from a few blemishes here and there isn't noticeable 6 feet away from the kit. The cover pic is in natural daylight, some I used the flash to show the blemishes and the last few are under lights in the pub.
Everything is present, original and working as it should. Comes with the 'bugle' tom mount, which while functional, isn't that adjustable. Original floor tom legs and bass drum spurs are solid.

Dampers are all present and working correctly, so you can take this kit anywhere and adjust the volume/projection of the kit without the need for moongel or any of that nonsense. The kit has coated Ambassaodors on the toms, Powerstroke on the bass drum and an original Everplay reso head with a decal on the front. It sounds rich and smooth with gorgous low end - it really excels in low volume applications like pub and club gigs.
The kit will come with a full set of Lokfast teardrop-shaped, flush-based hardware - snare stand, hi hat and 3 straight stands. Nice and lightweight if you're an oul lad like me.. It also comes with the kick-mounted boom stand, which is a real rarity.
Also for sale is my matching, period-correct Premier 2011 COB 14x4 piccolo snare, which I've been using with this kit for the past few years. Again, it sounds fantastic and the Flo Beam is smooth and accurate - Puresound Double 12 wires fitted. The chrome is in fantastic condition - my grubby finger marks will desappear with the rub of a cloth.. I'd be willing to sell it seperately for €300.
All drums come with lined soft cases.
I'm not looking for trades at the moment. I'm not playing this one enough to justify keeping it is all - I'd much rather keep this than take another kit in trade.
Thanks for looking.
