Arrow Video presents Both versions of Guiseppe Tornatore's classic film - the director's cut has an extra 50 minutes of footage.
Also includes Ennio Morricone soundtrack CD and bonus disc with documentaries, interviews, etc.
After receiving news of his mother's illness, a famous movie director returns after 30 years to his Sicilian home village and recalls his childhood, his fascination with films and the local cinema, and the projectionist, Alfredo, whom he befriended. Tornatore uses an Ennio Morricone score to enhance this bitter-sweet comedy
