Debut feature from celebrated comedy writer/directors, the Farrelly brothers. Lloyd Christmas (Jim Carrey) and Harry Dunne (Jeff Daniels) are a pair of hapless losers on the road, attempting to find the beautiful owner of a mislaid briefcase. Unbeknownst to them, the case contains ransom money for the woman's husband, and they find themselves pursued by his thuggish kidnappers, whilst stumbling across a series of oddballs along the way.
